Terms of service

Last updated: 20 September 2026

These terms cover your use of Sort'd — this website and the Sort'd membership. Sort'd is run by Jessica Flanagan, Liverpool, United Kingdom. Reach us any time at hello@sortdstyle.com or through the contact page.

By using Sort'd you agree to these terms. The important part: Sort'd is a styling service, not a shop.

1. What Sort'd is

Sort'd puts outfits together for you. You tell us the occasion, your budget, the season and the mood, and Sort'd shows you a whole look made of real pieces from real shops, with the price of each one and a link to where it is sold.

Sort'd does not sell clothes. We hold no stock, we take no money for any garment, and we do not handle deliveries, exchanges or returns of clothing. When you click a piece you leave Sort'd and land on that shop's website, and anything you buy there is a contract between you and that shop, under their terms.

2. Your first look is free

You can use Sort'd once without paying and without giving us a card. That look is a real one, built the same way a member's is.

3. Membership

Membership costs £9.99 a month, including VAT where it applies, and renews automatically each month until you cancel.

It gets you unlimited outfits on demand, an outfit of the week put together by hand, and the sale and season notes we send members.

You need to be 18 or over and living in the United Kingdom to hold a membership.

Keep your account details right and your password to yourself. Your membership is for you: please do not share your log-in, and please do not copy, scrape or republish what Sort'd shows you, or use it to run a competing service.

4. Cancelling

Cancel at any time from your account. The cancellations and refunds policy sets out exactly what happens. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer.

5. Prices, stock and what we can promise

Prices shown are the shop's own prices at the last time we checked them, and the date of that check is shown under every outfit. Prices change and things sell out, sometimes within the hour. The shop's own page is always the final word on price, stock and sizing.

Sort'd is styling advice, given in good faith by someone who does this for a living. It is not a guarantee that a piece will fit you, suit you, arrive on time or still be available.

6. Commission

Some shops pay us a small commission if you buy through our link. It comes out of that shop's margin and never changes the price you pay. It also never changes what Sort'd shows you: outfits are built from the occasion, your budget and Jess's own pairings, and the commission rate is not something the generator can see. Where we earn commission, we say so on the page.

7. Changes

We may change what the membership includes, and we may change the price. If the price you pay changes, we will email you at least 30 days beforehand and you are free to cancel before it takes effect. We may also change these terms; the version on this page is always the current one.

8. If something goes wrong

We do our best to keep Sort'd available and accurate, but we cannot promise it will never be down or never be wrong.

We are not responsible for what happens between you and a shop you bought from — a late delivery, a refused return, a faulty garment, a price that changed. That is between you and them, and your rights against them are unaffected.

Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law does not allow us to limit.

9. Your information

What we do with your details is set out in our privacy policy.

10. Law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales deal with any dispute about them.
